REMINDER: There will be two proposed capital referendum questions on the ballot for the School District of Sheboygan Falls on Tuesday, November 5th (the two referendum questions will likely be split between the front and the back side of your ballot, be sure to flip the ballot to vote on both questions).
The first question asks voters to approve general obligation bonds in an amount not to exceed $78.3 million. These funds would go toward Elementary and High School improvement projects, including:
➡️Addition of a 4-year-old kindergarten and childcare at the Elementary School, expanding our wraparound care for 4K students
➡️Addition of expanded career & technical education at the High School
➡️Addition of a Community Fitness Center
➡️Replacement of basic building systems
➡️Safety & security upgrades
➡️Upgrades to educational spaces
➡️Improvements to building finishes
➡️Furniture, fixtures & equipment
The second question asks voters to approve general obligation bonds in an amount not to exceed $21.5 million. These funds would go toward recreation and athletic improvement projects, including:
➡️New auxiliary gymnasium
➡️Construction of a new multi-sport turf field (football, soccer, other) & competitive track/field events
➡️Site improvements to address grading & draining issues

It has been another fun and busy week in Kindergarten!
We started of with a visit from SRO Allen who told us about his job here at school. We talked why colors help us understand the world in literacy. Then ended the week with dressing up as our favorite storybook characters. Can't forget the fun brain breaks too!

REMINDER: You're invited! Sheboygan Falls High School will once again be hosting a Veterans Day program. Join us on Monday, November 11th, beginning at 9:25 AM to honor and celebrate the service of veterans and their families. The program will feature student speakers who will share readings on the sacrifices made by our veterans. In addition, the school's talented music students will perform patriotic selections. A guest speaker will also be present to address the audience, offering inspiring words of gratitude and remembrance. Following the program, the community is invited to observe a 21-gun salute outside of the building near the flag. This solemn tribute will serve as a fitting conclusion to the Veterans Day observance. Community members can enter the building through the front doors on the southwest corner of the High School beginning at 9:10 AM.
